Big Bend is served by a professional Police Department, consisting of a combination of full-time officers and part-time officers. The department offers ride-a-longs and a volunteer program. The police station is located at W230S9185 Nevins St.

Did you know?…The Village of Big Bend Police Department is the only department within Waukesha County which performs salvage vehicle inspection services. These services are performed by an officer on the department and are available by appointment. To set-up an appointment for an inspection, please contact the Big Bend Police Department by calling 262-662-3782.


Vacation Checks Vacation

The Big Bend Police Department would be happy to keep an eye on your property while you are away. Please use the Premises Check Request Form to request that Police add patrols to your home. Email the completed form to police@villageofbigbend.com or drop off at the Village Offices. Your information will be kept confidential. This free service will help ensure that your property stays safe. 


Fingerprintingfingerprinting

Our department would be happy to fingerprint you and you don’t even have to commit a crime! Many different situations could lead you to require fingerprinting for employment or other general legal purposes. We are happy to provide this service. Please call 262.662.3782 to set an appointment with one of our officers. This service is by appointment only with a fee of $5.00 to cover our officer’s time and materials.

Medicine Disposal Disposal Receptacle

Unwanted medications can be safely dispose of using the receptacle in the Village hallway. If you have medicine that you need to dispose of please go  to https://doseofrealitywi.gov/drug-takeback/find-a-take-back-location/.  If you have needles or test tapes you will need to have a special sharps container. These containers can be purchased at any pharmacy and can be dropped off at most clinics for disposal.
