Salvage Vehicle Inspections:
Did you know?…The Village of Big Bend Police Department is the only department within Waukesha County which performs salvage vehicle inspection services. These services are performed by an officer on the department and are available by appointment. To set-up an appointment for an inspection, please contact the Big Bend Police Department by calling 262-662-3782.
Wisconsin Vehicle Registration:
The Big Bend Municipal Court provides Wisconsin vehicle registration and registration renewals. We have license plates and renewal stickers available for immediate issue. This service is available for autos, light trucks (A, B or C) and motorcycles. Please call Court Clerk, Gail Vogel for more information at 262.662.2966.
Vacation Checks

The Big Bend Police Department would be happy to keep an eye on your property while you are away. Please use the Vacation Check Request Form to request that Police add patrols to your home to help ensure that your property stays safe. This is a free service and your information will be kept strictly confidential. Please call 262.662.2966 with any questions and safe travels!
Fingerprinting
Our department would be happy to fingerprint you and you don’t even have to commit a crime! Many different situations could lead you to require fingerprinting for employment or other general legal purposes. We are happy to provide this service. Please call 262.662.2966 to set an appointment with one of our officers. This service is by appointment only with a fee of $5.00 to cover our officer’s time and materials.
Medicine Disposal
If you have medicine that you need to dispose of please go to https://doseofrealitywi.gov/drug-takeback/find-a-take-back-location/. If you have needles or test tapes you will need to have a special sharps container. These containers can be purchased at any pharmacy and can be dropped off at most clinics for disposal.
