The Big Bend Department of Public Works is a collection point for recyclables-specifically cardboard. The “DPW” Department has a cardboard recycling dumpster on-site 365 days per year which will accept as much cardboard and paper as you can supply. images Appliance and Electronics Disposal

Appliances can be disposed at Kohne Salvage Co. in Muskego, (262) 679-1135. Wisconsin Communities Recyclor in Waukesha accepts appliances and will also recycle electronics with a free pick up, (262) 522-8112. The following communities accept electronics from all County residents at their recycling drop-off sites: City of Brookfield, City of Oconomowoc, Town of Merton, City of Pewaukee, City of Waukesha and Village of Hartland.
