Village of Big Bend

All of us have, at one time or another, had the spark to “give back” to the community. Whether this is volunteering, serving on a Committee or Commission, Fire Department, etc., there are almost endless ways which you could be of great value to your community.

The Village of Big Bend is ALWAYS in search of volunteers and partners to expand our services and improve the quality of life within the Village.It doesn’t matter what your background is or what training you may or may not have, tell us what your interests are and we will be happy to have you help in any capacity you are able.

One of the largest issues facing Village Staff is time. Our staff works very hard to provide services and improve the Village on a daily basis. As a result, we may lose-out on possible programs and opportunities due to this lack of time. This is where you come in. If you find an opportunity which you believe the Village could utilize such as a grant, partnership, etc., please contact us and let us know.

Also, there are programs such as the WEA TRUST Local Spark Award which take applications from Citizens for projects within their municipalities which they would like to see realized.
