Tax Incremental Financing District (TID #1)
sewer-service-map

Tax Incremental finance is a tool that allows municipalities to invest in infrastructure and other improvements, and pay for these investments by capturing property tax revenue from the newly developed property. An area is identified as the tax incremental district (TID) as appropriate for a certain type of development, and projects are identified to encourage and facilitate the desired development.

Big Bend’s TID #1 is located along I-43, State Highway 164 and County Highway ES just 23 minutes from downtown Milwaukee, 20 minutes from Mitchell International Airport, 75 minutes from Chicago O’hare International Airport and 75 minutes from the state capitol of Madison. The TID was created to help provide utility infrastructure to new developments. The TID Project Plan and TID #1/Sewer Service Area Map are available for more information
