Rural Home Cemetery was established in the mid 1800’s and is located within the Village of Big Bend. The setting is quiet beauty and comfort overlooking the Fox River in beautiful Southeastern Wisconsin. The manicured lawns, views of the river and changing colors of the leaves during fall make this land some of the most beautiful in the area.
Cemetery Administration and Information:
The Rural Home Cemetery is overseen by the Cemetery Board with operational duties carried out by the Cemetery Manager and the Village Clerk. - Lot Fee (grave space and ongoing upkeep): $950.00*
- Burial Staking Fee (includes cremation): $85.00
- Monument Staking Fee: $85.00
- Deed Transfer Fee: $25.00
A map of the cemetery can be accessed here that provides you with the ability to view vacant plots. Please note Rural Home Cemetery does not allow internet or on-line purchased monuments (Headstones) to be placed at the Cemetery. All monuments and foundations need to be completed and installed by professional monument companies in good standing with Rural Home Cemetery Management.
